    This new 4EX2 transmitter can be programmed to control your 1st Generation 4EX receiver, or it can be programmed to control the new 2nd generation 4EX2 receiver unit !!
    To program the new 4EX2 transmitter to control a 1st Gen 4EX receiver
    :
    (1)  remove I-chip from old 4EX transmitter, and install in new 4EX2 transmitter
    (2)  set 1st 8-positions of the dipswitch on the 4EX2 transmitter to match the 8-position

    in
    the 4EX
    transmitter (fyi; there is no RF channel dipswitch on the 4EX2 transmitter, it reads the RF channel from the I-chip)
    (3)  if you do not have an old transmitter to get an I-chip from, then contact us about getting a new I-chip
