Geraldus Boyce Coin Silver Cup 1845

Description

Rare American Silversmith Gerardus Boyce Sterling Silver cup with octagon shape with nice hand engraving.  It was made In New York between 1814-1854. The cup stands 4 1/2" tall and 3" across at the top not including the handle. It is engraved "Edw'd Mate Hew, March 26th 1845". The bottom is marked with "G BOYCE, N.Y.". This is a very handsome cup and would be a great addition to any American silver collection.

This year marks 56 years in the antique and art business in the Los Angeles area and at one time Las Vegas and San Rafael,CA.
