Description
Up for your consideration a gorgeous early American coin silver jug. This is inscribed from a Gertrude Binney Popes to her Mother. This lady apparently was from an American wealthy family from Boston and the Daughter of Colonel Binney. I was able to find a bit of this information online. I purchased this many years ago and just now noticed the inscription. It measures about 6 inches tall counting the tip of the handle, and 7 inches from end of handle to end of spout. The bottom measures 3.25 inches diameter. It weighs approximately 250 grams.I am listing part of my old sterling silver collection, so please look at the my other items.
