    Offered is an antique coin silver serving spoon 8 1/2" long made by John Owen and Walter Pitkin of Hartford, Ct. Actually it has two stamps, the second is for LM & AC Root of MA. The spoon was made in the 1830's-40's in the fiddle style. It is in good condition with one very slight bend in the handle and several small indents in the bowl. Monogrammed with two letters I can't make out. It weighs 36.99 grams.
